WELCOME TO THE DAM INN
where the Palwaukee Airport is in the backyard and the Des Plaines River is knocking on the front door. Nature vs. Man collides and at its center is the owner- Mel. As the pressure mounts with the looming airport expansion Mel reckons with the future while struggling to honor her late father's legacy. Based on a real bar in a real town, this documentary style drama exposes the forces brought down upon a community and its institutions lost to time. KA-BOOM!

THE DAM INN was developed during a three month inaugural playwright fellowship program with The Chicago Latino Theater Alliance (CLATA). It received staged reading with inicios: Chicago Latine Playwright Festival in May 2026.

DRUNK DONKEY
IT ALL STARTED
with a shipwreck. Three clowns wash up on shore at the beginning of the end of the Great Wall of China. What ensues is a struggle for survival. Laced with song, mime and dance these clowns journey to discover the true meaning of life. Now, if only this drunk donkey would cooperate.

in the Emerald Triangle and the wardens are getting closer to White Thorns grow. Viper and Sapphira struggle to maintain the garden and the demands of what it means to build an empire. With every bud plucked, secrets remain hidden in hands. Viper is left with one decision to make, but harvest season waits for no one.

“IF YOU CAN, YOU MUST. RIGHT?”
asks LITTLE CLOWN in DEATH MASTER FILE. In this 10 minute play we find two clowns sitting in a waiting room, unknowing that each are broken in their own way. As the bell dings once, twice, three times LITTLE CLOWN and BIG CLOWN must face the dreaded realization: What happens to a clown when they are no longer funny? DEATH MASTER FILE seeks to explore the tragedies of life and the comedies of death.
